What's wrong?
The 32-inch hard line LPG hose on affected 2024 Tiffin Allegro Bay and Allegro Open Road motorhomes carries LPG, or propane fuel, from the regulator to the hard pipe gas line going into the motorhome. The regulator controls gas pressure, and the hose connection needs to seal tightly so propane stays inside the LPG system.
On these motorhomes, the fitting on the 32-inch hose does not fully match the hard pipe gas line. Tiffin found leaks between the crimp and the joint during final LPG checks. That mismatch lets propane escape at the hose connection instead of staying sealed in the line.
Owners can notice the smell of LPG before the problem is found. The propane/CO2 alarm can also alert if gas is present near the coach.
Who's affected?
Both Allegro motorhome lines use the same 32-inch hard line LPG hose.

What happens at the repair
At the dealer, a Tiffin technician replaces the 32-inch LPG hose with a 40-inch hose so the hard line fitting fits correctly and the fuel leak risk is addressed. The recall repair is free, with parts and labor covered. Tiffin is not offering a separate reimbursement program for this campaign because related LPG system issues are covered under the motorhome's original 12-month warranty. If you already paid for related LPG work, ask the service desk how that warranty coverage applies to your prior repair paperwork.
