What's wrong?
The dinette seat belts in affected 2019-2023 Newmar Bay Star, Bay Star Sport, and Super Star motorhomes attach to the slideout floor through a seat belt mounting bracket. That bracket is the anchor point that holds the belt to the coach structure, so it has to stay secure when the belt loads up in a crash.
On these motorhomes, production changed the bracket so it would clear the slideout roller in the floor. The cut bracket was later tested and did not meet FMVSS 207/210 requirements for seating systems and seat belt anchorages.
