What's wrong?
The ROMEX 120V cable on the 2023 Triple E Rv Wonder and Unity motorhomes carries power to the Truma air conditioner. It runs into a junction box, where the air conditioning wiring connects to the rest of the electrical system. The cable jacket and the insulation around each conductor are supposed to keep the energized wire separated from the metal box.
On affected motorhomes, the outer cable jacket was stripped incorrectly during installation. The installer cut horizontally across the cable, which also cut the inner insulation around the conductor.
