What's wrong?
The affected 2020-2023 Tiffin Allegro Breeze motorhomes use Molex electrical connectors in the refrigerator power circuit. A Molex connector is a plastic plug that joins wiring so power can move through the circuit without loose or exposed wire ends. In these motorhomes, the refrigerator has a condensation pan below it to collect water from normal operation.
The problem is the placement of the connector. On affected Breeze motorhomes, the refrigerator receptacle is on the wall, but the Molex connections are in the floor below the refrigerator. If the condensation pan overflows, water can run down into those floor connections. Water inside an electrical connector can create heat at the connection point and start a thermal event.
There is no warning sign before failure. An owner would not have a normal dashboard warning or driving symptom to rely on before water reaches the connector.

What happens at the repair
At the dealer, a Tiffin technician relocates the Molex connectors so water from an overflowing refrigerator condensation pan is less likely to reach the electrical connections on the floor. The recall repair is free, with parts and labor covered. If you already paid for repairs tied to this defect, submit the repair invoice to Tiffin Motorhomes for reimbursement. Keep a copy of the invoice and any service notes for your records before you contact Tiffin or the dealer.
