Recall 23V103 covers 757 2021-2023 Atc Quest and Toyhauler trailers with cooktop burner tubes that can fracture. Free dealer repair once Atc opens it.
Atc is recalling 757 2021-2023 Quest and Toyhauler trailers equipped with SDS2 2-Burner Drop-in Cooktops because internal aluminum burner tubes can fracture and leak gas. A gas leak near an ignition source raises the risk of fire, and the Atc dealer repair will be free once the remedy is available.

What's wrong?
The SDS2 2-Burner Drop-in Cooktop in affected 2021-2023 Atc Quest and Toyhauler trailers uses propane from the trailer's gas system to feed the cooktop burners. Inside the cooktop, aluminum burner tubes connect the gas valves to the burners. When a valve is turned on, gas flows through those tubes so the burner can light and hold a steady flame.
In these trailers, travel vibration or a hard shock can fracture one of the aluminum burner tubes. Once the tube cracks, propane can leak inside the cooktop path while the gas valve is open. That leak is the defect in recall 23V103, and the cooktop should stay off until the recall repair is complete.
An owner can notice a louder than normal hissing sound or a small propane odor when a cooktop gas valve is in the on position. Treat either sign as a warning that gas is escaping, then turn the cooktop off.
Who's affected?

What's the safety risk?
A gas leak near an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire. A louder hissing sound or propane odor while the cooktop gas valve is on is a reason to shut the valve off, avoid flames, and schedule service. Repair will be free at any franchised Atc dealer once available.
What should I do?
- Check your VIN to confirm your 2021-2023 Atc Quest or Toyhauler trailer is included in this recall.
- Contact Atc customer service to confirm the current repair timing before scheduling dealer work.
- Ask a franchised Atc dealer whether the free regulator support bracket repair is open for your VIN. The bracket repair addresses the SDS2 cooktop gas-leak risk.
- Bring the owner letter if Atc mailed one. If not, reference recall number 23V103 when you call.
- Keep ignition sources away from the cooktop area if you smell gas, and stop using the cooktop until the repair is complete.
What happens at the repair
Because the final remedy is still under development, do not assume the dealer can complete the repair immediately. Once Atc opens the final repair, an Atc technician will install a regulator support bracket at no charge. The bracket is meant to support the regulator area tied to the cooktop gas system. The dealer repair will be free once available, with parts and labor covered under the recall.

Frequently asked questions
What is recall 23V103?
Recall 23V103 covers 757 2021-2023 Atc Quest and Toyhauler trailers equipped with certain SDS2 2-Burner Drop-in Cooktops. The internal aluminum burner tubes that connect to the gas valves can fracture and cause a gas leak. Atc dealers will install a regulator support bracket for free.
What should I do if my 2021-2023 Atc Quest or Toyhauler is on this recall?
Check your VIN to confirm your specific trailer is included in recall 23V103. If it is, contact a franchised Atc dealer and ask about the regulator support bracket repair. Reference recall 23V103 or Atc recall number 23E-002 when you call. The repair is free.
Is the recall repair free?
Yes. Federal recall law requires the manufacturer to repair the defect at no cost, and Atc says dealers will install the regulator support bracket free of charge. Parts and labor are covered at a franchised Atc dealer.
What is the safety risk?
The safety risk is fire. If a burner tube fractures, propane gas can leak from the cooktop area. A gas leak near an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire. Until your VIN is checked and the repair status is clear, avoid using the affected cooktop.
When were owners notified about this Atc recall?
Atc mailed owner notification letters on April 17, 2023. If you bought the trailer used or never received a letter, the VIN still decides whether the recall applies. Check your VIN, then call a franchised Atc dealer with recall 23V103.
