What's wrong?
The communication module in 2019-2021 Freightliner Sprinter 1500, Sprinter 2500, Sprinter 3500, Sprinter 4500, and Metris vehicles is the hardware and software link that connects the van to the mobile network. Its SIM card identifies the vehicle on that network. When the emergency call system works normally, that connection lets the vehicle send an eCall for emergency help after a crash or during a manual emergency call.
