Recall 22V325 covers 97 2022 Beta Rr-S motorcycles for an incorrect front brake hose. Repair is free at any franchised Beta dealer.
Beta is recalling 97 2022 390 Rr-S, 430 Rr-S, 500 Rr-S, and 350 Rr-S motorcycles because an incorrect front brake hose was installed during production. The hose can disconnect and cause a loss of braking, which raises crash risk; Beta dealers will complete the recall repair free of charge.

What's wrong?
The front brake hose on the 2022 Beta 390 Rr-S, 430 Rr-S, 500 Rr-S, and 350 Rr-S motorcycles carries brake fluid from the handlebar master cylinder to the front brake caliper. When you squeeze the front brake lever, that fluid pressure is what makes the front brake apply. The hose also has to fit the master cylinder at the correct angle so it routes cleanly at the bars.
On affected motorcycles, Beta says the factory installed the incorrect front brake hose during production. The recalled hose connects straight into the master cylinder, while the correct hose has a slight bend where it attaches. That wrong shape leaves the front brake hose different from the intended part for these bikes.
There is no warning sign before failure. The visible difference is the hose itself: the correct hose is marked 29.09108.000, while the recalled hose is marked 37.36.002.00.00.
Who's affected?
All four Rr-S variants use the same front hydraulic brake hose named in this recall.

A matching year and Rr-S model does not guarantee inclusion. Check your VIN to confirm whether your specific motorcycle is included.
What's the safety risk?
An incorrect front brake hose can disconnect, causing a loss of braking and increasing crash risk. If brake feel changes, stop riding, move the motorcycle to a safe place, and call a Beta dealer before riding again. Repair is free at any franchised Beta dealer.
What should I do?
- Check your VIN to confirm your 2022 Beta 350 Rr-S, 390 Rr-S, 430 Rr-S, or 500 Rr-S is included in this recall.
- Contact a franchised Beta dealer to schedule the free front brake hose replacement that fixes the incorrect hose that can disconnect and cause brake loss.
- Bring the recall notice if Beta mailed one, or reference recall number 22V325 when you call.
- Ride cautiously until the repair is complete, leave extra following distance, and avoid hard braking.
What happens at the repair
At the dealer, a Beta technician replaces the incorrect front brake hose with the proper hose for this recall. The recall repair is free, with parts and labor covered. Beta has a general reimbursement plan on file for owners who paid for the same brake hose repair before the recall work was completed. If you already paid out of pocket, bring repair invoices and payment documentation to the service desk, or contact Beta customer service and ask how to submit the claim under Beta's reimbursement plan.

Frequently asked questions
What is recall 22V325?
Recall 22V325 covers 97 2022 Beta 390 Rr-S, 430 Rr-S, 500 Rr-S, and 350 Rr-S motorcycles built with the wrong front brake hose. The hose can disconnect, causing a loss of brakes and increasing crash risk. Beta will replace the front brake hose for free.
What should I do if my 2022 Beta 390 Rr-S, 430 Rr-S, 500 Rr-S, or 350 Rr-S is on this recall?
Check your VIN to confirm your specific motorcycle is included in recall 22V325. If it is, contact a franchised Beta dealer to schedule the front brake hose replacement. Reference recall 22V325 or Beta recall number R-2022-1 when you call.
Is the recall repair free?
Yes. Federal recall law requires the manufacturer to repair the defect at no cost, and Beta's remedy states that the front brake hose replacement is free. Parts and labor are covered at a franchised Beta dealer.
What is the safety risk?
The safety risk is loss of braking. Beta says the incorrect front brake hose can disconnect, which can leave the motorcycle without brakes and increase crash risk. Until your VIN is checked and the repair is complete, treat brake problems as a service issue right away.
What if I bought my Beta motorcycle used?
The free recall repair still applies. Federal recall law follows the motorcycle, not the first owner. If you never received the letter Beta mailed on May 24, 2022, check your VIN and call a franchised Beta dealer or Beta customer service at 1-805-226-4035.
