The alternator on affected 2010-2023 Prevost H3-45, X3-45 Commuter, X3-45 Vip, H3-45 Vip, and X3-45 coaches makes electrical power while the engine runs. A front bearing supports the alternator shaft so it spins smoothly, and a rubber belt transfers engine power to that shaft.
