What's wrong?
The Winntec Model 6020 LP regulator is the propane control device on affected 2017-2020 Play-Mor trailers. It sits between the LP tanks and the propane system, reducing tank pressure before propane reaches appliances, valves, and supply lines. On trailers with more than 1 LP tank, this auto changeover regulator also helps draw from the available tank setup without sending full tank pressure downstream.
In this recall, the regulator itself is the defective part. Play-Mor found Winntec Model 6020 regulators on certain trailers built with multiple LP tanks, including larger 30-40 foot units with separate living spaces. If the regulator fails, it stops holding propane pressure to the intended level. The result is increased propane pressure in the trailer's propane system.
There is no warning sign before failure. Owners should not count on a smell, noise, flame change, or appliance problem to appear before the regulator stops controlling pressure correctly.
