Recall 21V687 affects 1,512 2021-2022 Starcraft Autumn Ridge Outfitter, Super Lite, and Telluride RVs for propane-regulator overpressure. Repair is free at any franchised Starcraft dealer.
Starcraft is recalling 1,512 2021-2022 Telluride, Super Lite, and Autumn Ridge Outfitter recreational vehicles under recall 21V687 because the Winntec model 6020 two-stage propane regulator can fail and increase propane pressure. Higher pressure can enlarge flames in gas appliances and raise fire risk; Starcraft dealers will complete the repair free of charge.

What's wrong?
The Winntec model 6020 two-stage propane regulator on affected 2021-2022 Starcraft Telluride, Super Lite, and Autumn Ridge Outfitter recreational vehicles controls propane flow from the onboard cylinders to the appliances. Its job is to reduce cylinder pressure to a steady appliance pressure, so the stove, furnace, water heater, and other propane equipment receive fuel at the correct rate.
Inside the regulator, the second stage valve seat is supposed to stay locked in position while it meters propane. On these regulators, that seat can move out of place because its mechanical lock is inadequate. Plasticizer released from the supply pigtail hoses also collects inside the regulator and changes the valve seal material, making the seal easier to degrade and migrate. When that happens, the regulator no longer controls propane flow and pressure correctly.
An owner can notice irregular appliance performance before the regulator fails. The smell of propane at the regulator is another warning sign, especially when the regulator is venting because pressure is too high.
Who's affected?
The scope spans three Starcraft model lines in the 2021 and 2022 model years. The shared component is the Winntec 2 Stage Propane Regulator.
| 2021 Starcraft Telluride | Lpg systems |
|---|---|
| 2021 Starcraft Super Lite | Lpg systems |
| 2021 Starcraft Autumn Ridge Outfitter | Lpg systems |
| 2022 Starcraft Autumn Ridge Outfitter | Lpg systems |

The year and model narrow the scope, but the VIN decides. Check your VIN to confirm whether your specific RV is included.
What's the safety risk?
Increased propane pressure can make gas-appliance flames larger and increase the risk of a fire. Irregular appliance performance or propane smell at the regulator points to high pressure and needs prompt service. Until the RV is checked, shut off propane and avoid using gas appliances. Repair is free at any franchised Starcraft dealer.

What happens at the repair
At the dealer, a Starcraft technician replaces the Winntec model 6020 two-stage propane regulator and then tests the propane system for leaks. The repair is available now, and the replacement parts and labor are free under recall 21V687. Ask the service desk to confirm the leak test is complete before you tow or use the RV again, since the regulator is the part that controls propane pressure through the system.
