What's wrong?
The fuel supply hose assembly on 2019-2020 Suzuki UH200 scooters is the rubber hose and fitting set that carries gasoline through the fuel delivery system to the engine. The hose has to grip the metal fuel connection pipes tightly so fuel stays contained while the scooter runs and after it is parked.
On affected UH200 scooters, the fuel hose was made on a resin-based extrusion mandrel that was larger than the supplier's inspection control value. That left the hose with an internal diameter larger than the correct specification. Because the opening is too large, the hose connection to the metal fuel pipes is loose, and fuel can leak from that joint.
The warning sign is a fuel smell after the scooter has been shut down for a period of time. If you smell gasoline around the scooter after parking, that is the sign Suzuki identifies before the hose connection fails.
Who's affected?
Covers the UH200 across the 2019 and 2020 model years, with the same fuel supply hose assembly listed for both.

A fuel leak increases the risk of fire. Fuel smell after the UH200 has been shut down is the warning sign to take seriously. If you notice that smell, park the scooter, keep ignition sources away, and call a Suzuki dealer for repair scheduling. Repair is free at any franchised Suzuki dealer.
