What's wrong?
The floor in these 2017-2021 Vacationer, Bounder, and Southwind motorhomes is part of the barrier between the living area and the underside of the coach. Openings in that floor let wiring harnesses and heat ducts pass through. Those openings are supposed to be sealed so air and gases stay out of the living space.
On affected motorhomes, those floor openings were not sealed correctly. Some holes are oversized for this P model layout, which leaves a path from below the floor into the living area. Under certain environmental or weather conditions, noxious air or gases such as carbon monoxide can enter the coach.
The warning sign is the carbon monoxide detector sounding an audible alarm. Treat that alarm as real, leave the living area, and keep the coach ventilated until the threat has cleared.

What's the safety risk?
Exhaust gases entering the living area can expose occupants to carbon monoxide and increase the risk of injury or death. If the carbon monoxide detector sounds, leave the living area, ventilate if safe, and contact the dealer before using the coach again. Repair is free at any franchised Holiday Rambler dealer.
What should I do?
- Check your VIN to confirm your 2017-2021 Holiday Rambler Vacationer, Bounder, or Southwind motorhome is included in this recall.

- Bring the recall notice if REV mailed one. If not, reference recall number 21V395 when you call.

- Call Holiday Rambler customer service at 1-800-509-3417 with questions about scheduling or recall number 21V395.
What happens at the repair
At the dealer, a Holiday Rambler technician reseals the floor area so openings in the floor are closed against gases entering the living area. The recall repair is free, and parts and labor are covered. The remedy is available now. If you already paid for a related floor sealing repair before the recall notice, the manufacturer's standard reimbursement plan applies to documented expenses. Contact REV customer service or ask the Holiday Rambler service desk how to submit the paperwork.
