Recall 21V205 affects 184 2021 Trailstar NZ and ZV trailers for tire rub and blowout risk. Do not drive. Free repair at a Trailstar dealer.
Premature tire wear can cause a blowout and increase the risk of a crash. Do not drive the trailer, even for short trips. Call the dealer and ask for the tow or on site repair described for this recall. Repair is free at any franchised Trailstar dealer.
Trailstar is recalling 184 2021 ZV20, NZ19, NZ21, NZ18, ZV21, and NZ20 trailers because the 18 inch tires can rub against the fiberglass fenders and wear early. Do not drive or tow an included trailer until a Trailstar dealer completes the free recall repair, because a tire blowout increases the risk of a crash.

What's wrong?
The fiberglass fender on a 2021 Trailstar NZ18, NZ19, NZ20, NZ21, ZV20, or ZV21 trailer sits over the tire and gives the trailer body clearance around the wheel opening. The tire needs open space around it as the trailer moves, loads shift, and the suspension travels over bumps.
On affected trailers with upgraded 18 inch wheels and tires, that clearance is too tight. The tire rubs against the fiberglass fender instead of spinning freely inside the wheel opening. That contact wears the tire before its normal service life and can weaken the tire enough to fail.
There is no warning sign before failure. A tire can wear from this rubbing before the driver sees damage or feels a change while towing.

What's the safety risk?
Premature tire wear can cause a blowout and increase the risk of a crash. Do not drive the trailer, even for short trips. Call the dealer and ask for the tow or on site repair described for this recall. Repair is free at any franchised Trailstar dealer.
What should I do?
- Check your VIN to confirm your 2021 Trailstar ZV20, NZ19, NZ21, NZ18, ZV21, or NZ20 trailer is included in this recall.
- Do not drive the trailer until the free fender-shim or axle repair is complete.
- Arrange a tow or on-site repair if the trailer has to be moved; do not tow it on the road before the repair.
- Contact a franchised Trailstar dealer to schedule the repair that stops the tires from rubbing against the fiberglass fenders.
- Bring the recall notice if Trailstar has mailed one. If not, reference recall number 21V205 when you call.
What happens at the repair
Do not drive the trailer until the recall remedy is complete. At the dealer, a Trailstar technician raises the fenders on NZ18, NZ19, NZ20, and NZ21 trailers by installing shims. For ZV20 and ZV21 trailers, the dealer replaces the axle. Parts and labor are covered under the recall. If the trailer needs to move, ask Tracker for a tow or an on-site repair instead of driving it to the dealer.

Frequently asked questions
What is recall 21V205?
Recall 21V205 covers 184 2021 Trailstar ZV20, NZ19, NZ21, NZ18, ZV21, and NZ20 trailers with 18 inch tires that rub against the fiberglass fenders. That rubbing causes premature tire wear, a tire blowout risk, and increased crash risk. Do not drive the trailer until the repair is complete.
What should I do if my 2021 Trailstar ZV20, NZ19, NZ21, NZ18, ZV21, or NZ20 trailer is on this recall?
Check your VIN to confirm your specific trailer is included in recall 21V205. If it is included, do not drive the trailer. Contact a Trailstar dealer or Tracker customer service at 1-417-873-4555 to arrange the free repair, towing, or on-site service.
Is the recall repair free?
Yes. Federal recall law requires the manufacturer to repair the defect at no cost, and Tracker says dealers will complete the remedy free of charge. Dealers will raise the fenders with shims on NZ models and replace the axle on ZV models.
What does Do not drive mean for this trailer recall?
Do not drive the trailer until the recall remedy is complete. Tracker's filing says owners are advised not to drive it, and Tracker will provide a tow or on-site repair. Ask for that support when you contact the dealer or Tracker customer service.
