Recall 20V780 covers 3,356 2020-2021 Jayco motorhomes for leveling-system pump brackets that can fail. Repair is free at any franchised Jayco dealer.
Jayco is recalling 3,356 2020-2021 Greyhawk, Redhawk, Odyssey, and Esteem motorhomes because the leveling system hydraulic pump and reservoir brackets can fail and let those components contact the ground. That contact can detach the pump or reservoir or cause a hydraulic fluid leak, increasing crash risk; Jayco dealers will complete the recall repair free of charge.

What's wrong?
The hydraulic leveling system on 2020-2021 Jayco Greyhawk, Esteem, Redhawk Se, Redhawk, Greyhawk Prestige, Redundant Odyssey, and Odyssey motorhomes uses a pump, fluid reservoir, and jacks to steady the coach when parked. The pump supplies pressure, and the reservoir holds the hydraulic fluid the system needs to move the leveling jacks. Both parts need a secure bracket under the motorhome.
In this recall, the support bracket for the hydraulic pump and reservoir is not strong enough for the load. If the bracket fails, the pump and reservoir can drop from their mounted position and contact the ground. That can damage the leveling equipment and leave parts dragging beneath the motorhome while it is being moved.
There is no warning sign before failure. A scraping sound, hanging hardware, or hydraulic parts touching the road means the bracket has already failed, so treat that as a service issue before moving the motorhome again.

The year and model narrow the recall, but the VIN decides. Check your VIN to confirm whether your specific motorhome is included.
What's the safety risk?
If the pump or reservoir contacts the ground, it can detach or leak hydraulic fluid, increasing the risk of a crash. Until the bracket is installed, drive cautiously and avoid road conditions that let the system strike the ground. Repair is free at any franchised Jayco dealer.
What should I do?
- Check your VIN to confirm your 2020-2021 Jayco Greyhawk, Esteem, Redhawk Se, Redhawk, Greyhawk Prestige, Redundant Odyssey, or Odyssey motorhome is included in this recall.
- Contact a franchised Jayco dealer to schedule the free support-bracket installation that keeps the leveling-system hydraulic pump and reservoir from contacting the ground.
- Bring the recall notice if Jayco mailed one. If not, reference recall number 20V780 when you call.
- Watch for hydraulic fluid leaks or low-hanging leveling-system components, and avoid driving if either is present.
What happens at the repair
At the dealer, a Jayco technician installs a new support bracket for the leveling system hydraulic pump and reservoir so those parts stay secured above the road surface. The bracket installation, parts, and labor are free under the recall. Jayco has a general reimbursement plan for owners who already paid for this repair before the recall work was completed. Bring documented repair paperwork to the service desk and ask Jayco customer service how the plan applies to your prior expense.

Frequently asked questions
What is recall 20V780?
Recall 20V780 covers 3,356 2020-2021 Jayco Greyhawk, Esteem, Redhawk Se, Redhawk, Greyhawk Prestige, Redundant Odyssey, and Odyssey motorhomes. The leveling system hydraulic pump and reservoir brackets can fail, letting those components contact the ground. Jayco dealers install a new support bracket for free.
What should I do if my 2020-2021 Jayco Greyhawk, Esteem, Redhawk Se, Redhawk, Greyhawk Prestige, Redundant Odyssey, or Odyssey is on this recall?
Check your VIN to confirm your specific motorhome is included in recall 20V780. If it is, contact a franchised Jayco dealer to schedule installation of the new support bracket. Reference recall 20V780 and Jayco recall number 9903528 when you call.
Is the recall repair free?
Yes. Federal recall law requires manufacturers to repair safety defects at no cost, and Jayco dealers install the new leveling-system support bracket free of charge. Parts and labor are covered for included vehicles.
What is the safety risk in recall 20V780?
The safety risk is that the leveling system pump and reservoir can contact the ground, then detach or leak hydraulic fluid. NHTSA campaign 20V780 says that condition increases crash risk. The fix is a dealer-installed support bracket.
What if I bought this motorhome used?
The free recall repair still applies. Recall coverage follows the VIN, not the first owner, so a used 2020-2021 Jayco or Entegra motorhome still gets the dealer repair if its VIN is included. Check your VIN, then call a franchised Jayco dealer.
