Recall 20V662 covers 165 2021 Entegra recreational vehicles with bedlift motors that can release the bunk. Repair will be free once available.
Entegra is recalling 165 2021 Emblem, Alante, and Precept Prestige recreational vehicles equipped with a Power Bedlift System because internal gear failure can let the overhead bunk bed drop from its stowed position. If the bed releases while the vehicle is moving, it can contact the driver or block vision, and the dealer repair will be free once Entegra opens it.

What's wrong?
The LCI Power Bedlift in these 2021 Entegra motorhomes is the electric lift system that holds the overhead bunk bed up when it is stowed. Its motor and gearbox raise, lower, and lock the bed so it stays above the cab while the motorhome is moving. The system depends on the internal gears holding their position after the bed is lifted.
On the affected units, a manufacturing error in the bedlift motor left the internal gears vulnerable to failure. When those gears fail, the overhead bunk bed releases from the stowed position. The bed or mattress can drop into the cab area, hit the driver, or block the driver's view through the windshield.
There is no warning sign before failure. The recalled motor has red and black wires with a red gasket at the gearbox cover, while the replacement motor uses green and black wires with a brown gasket.

What's the safety risk?
If the bed releases from the stowed position while the motorhome is moving, it can strike the driver or block the driver's view, increasing the risk of a crash and injury. Confirm your VIN, then ask the dealer how to keep the bed secured until the repair opens. Repair will be free at any franchised Entegra dealer once available.
What should I do?
- Check your VIN to confirm your 2021 Entegra Emblem, Alante, Redundant Vision, Redundant Vision Xl, Precept, Precept Prestige, Vision, or Vision Xl motorhome is included in this recall.
- Contact Entegra customer service before scheduling, because the remedy is not listed as available in this section.
- Reference recall number 20V662 when you call or speak with a dealer.
- Keep the overhead bunk bed secured in the stowed position until the bed-motor repair is complete.
- Ask about the free bed-motor replacement that fixes the gear failure allowing the overhead bunk bed to release from the stowed position.
What happens at the repair
The final dealer repair is the bed motor replacement described for this recall. Once the remedy is available, an Entegra technician will replace the Power Bedlift System motor so the overhead bunk bed stays secured in the stowed position. Parts and labor are covered under the recall. Entegra's standard reimbursement plan covers documented out of pocket repairs already paid before the recall notice. Keep repair orders and payment records so the service desk or customer care team can review them.
