Recall 20V337 covers 449 2020 Jayco motorhomes, including Alante, Greyhawk, Redhawk, and related models, for window glass detachment. Free repair at Jayco dealers.
Jayco is recalling 449 2020 Redhawk, Qwest, Seneca, and other recreational vehicles because the adhesive bond on frameless crank out vent and egress windows can fail, allowing the glass to detach. If glass comes loose while the vehicle is moving, it can become a projectile and increase injury or crash risk; Jayco dealers will complete the repair free of charge.

What's wrong?
The LCI 3000 Series frameless windows on these 2020 Jayco recreational vehicles are crank-out vent and egress windows. Their glass is bonded to a metal hinge frame, so the hinge opens the pane while the frame holds the glass in place. That adhesive joint is the part doing the safety work.
The problem is the bond between the glass and hinge frame. Lippert changed the window adhesive from a Sika product to a DOW product during the affected production run, and the replacement adhesive did not hold the glass to the frame as intended. When the bond fails, the glass detaches from the hinge frame and falls out of the window opening.
There is no warning sign before failure. An owner is not told to expect a sound, dashboard light, or visible crack before the glass separates, so the issue has to be handled through the recall repair rather than by waiting for a symptom.
Who's affected?
The affected Jayco and Entegra motorhome lines share the same LCI 3000 Series frameless windows.

What's the safety risk?
Detached window glass can become a projectile while the vehicle is moving, increasing the risk of injury or a crash. If a frameless window looks loose or poorly bonded, avoid using it and schedule the inspection soon. Repair is free at any franchised Jayco dealer.
What should I do?
- Check your VIN to confirm your 2020 Jayco or Entegra Redhawk, Qwest, Seneca, Emblem, Esteem, Vision, Alante, Melbourne, Greyhawk, Redundant Odyssey, Accolade, or Precept is included in this recall.
- Contact a franchised Jayco dealer to schedule the free frameless-window inspection and any needed window replacement for weak adhesive bond strength.
- Bring the recall notice if Jayco mailed one. If not, reference recall number 20V337 and Jayco recall 9901508 when you call.
- Avoid unnecessary travel until the dealer inspects the vent and egress windows, because detached glass creates an injury and crash risk while the vehicle is moving.
- Call Jayco customer service at 1-800-517-9137 with questions about the recall repair.
What happens at the repair
At the dealer, a Jayco technician inspects the frameless crank out vent and egress windows to confirm the adhesive bond between the glass and metal hinge frame is holding properly. Any window that fails inspection is replaced. The recall inspection, replacement parts, and labor are free. If you already paid for a related window repair before the recall notice, Jayco's general reimbursement plan applies to eligible documented expenses. Ask Jayco customer service or the dealer service desk how to submit the paperwork.
