What's wrong?
The 2019 Triple E Unity uses a factory-installed Equalizer System 4-point hydraulic leveling jack system to stabilize the motorhome when it is parked. The driver-side front trans-mount support bracket holds part of that leveling jack hardware in place. Near it, the Sprinter chassis brake line carries brake fluid under pressure so the service brakes respond when you press the pedal.
On affected motorhomes, that support bracket was installed too close to the brake line under the cab. The bracket can contact the line as the vehicle moves and vibrates. That contact leaves the brake line vulnerable to wear damage, and worn brake line material can leak brake fluid. When brake fluid leaks, the brake system loses pressure and braking ability drops.
The warning sign is low brake pressure when applying the brake to slow or stop the vehicle. If the pedal feels weak or the motorhome takes more effort to stop, treat that as a brake system warning and have the recall repair handled by a Triple E dealer.
Who's affected?
The scope points to both the brake system and body structure on the same Unity motorhome.

A matching year and model does not guarantee inclusion. Check your VIN to confirm whether your specific motorhome is included.
What's the safety risk?
Low brake pressure while slowing or stopping reduces braking ability and increases the risk of a crash. Treat a soft or weak brake pedal as a reason to pull over safely and call for service before continuing. Schedule the recall repair soon. Repair is free at any franchised Triple E dealer.
What should I do?
- Check your VIN to confirm your 2019 Triple E Unity is included in this recall.
- Contact a franchised Triple E dealer to schedule the free leveling-jack bracket relocation, which moves the bracket away from the brake line.
- Bring the recall notice if you received one. If not, reference recall number 18V779 when you call.
- Drive cautiously until the repair is complete. Leave extra following distance and avoid hard braking.
What happens at the repair
At the dealer, a Triple E technician inspects the driver side front trans mount leveling jack support bracket and relocates it to the correct position when it is too close to the brake line. The recall repair is free, with the dealer submitting the covered work as a warranty claim. If you used a servicing center for this recall instead, Triple E RV reimburses the owner or pays the servicing center directly. Keep the repair paperwork for that claim.
