What's wrong?
The column shift system on affected 2015-2016 Winnebago motorhomes uses a shift lever, a cable, and a bracket to tell the Ford chassis transmission which gear the driver selected. When the system is set up correctly, the driver presses the brake before moving the lever out of PARK. That brake step keeps the motorhome from being shifted while someone is not ready to control it.
