What's wrong?
The alternator harness on affected 2010-2013 Glaval Bus Universal, Entourage, Concorde Ii, Titan, Titan Ii, and Legacy buses carries electrical power between the alternator and the rest of the vehicle. The alternator keeps the battery charged and supports the bus's electrical system while the engine is running. These buses have a Ford 5.4L or 6.8L engine and a Trans/Air-brand air conditioner.
The problem is the space around the front of the intake manifold. Depending on how the alternator harness is routed and how the heater hose spring clamp is turned, the harness can be pinched between that clamp and the air conditioner compressor mounting bracket. Engine movement and vibration can press the wiring against the metal bracket or clamp, damaging the harness insulation.
The recall does not identify a specific dashboard light, sound, smell, or drivability symptom that comes first. There is no warning sign before failure.

What's the safety risk?
A charging system failure can stall the vehicle while driving, increasing crash risk. The clamp can also pierce both alternator harness wires, creating a short circuit and fire risk. Until the repair is complete, drive cautiously and schedule service without delay. Repair will be free at any franchised Glaval Bus dealer once available.
What should I do?
- Check your VIN to confirm your 2010-2013 Glaval Bus Entourage, Titan Ii, Universal, Legacy, Titan, or Concorde Ii is included in this recall.
- Call Glaval Bus customer service at 1-574-262-2212 and reference recall number 14V004 when asking about inspection and repair status.
- Schedule the free Trans/Air dealer inspection and alternator-harness rerouting that keeps the harness from being pinched by the heater-hose spring clamp.
- Bring the recall notice if Glaval Bus mailed one, and ask the dealer to correct the clamp installation and repair the alternator harness.
- Avoid operating the bus if it stalls, loses charging-system function, or shows signs of an electrical short before the repair is complete.
What happens at the repair
At the dealer, a Glaval Bus technician inspects the alternator harness routing and the heater hose spring clamp near the front of the intake manifold. If the clamp is installed in a way that pinches the harness against the air conditioner compressor bracket, the technician corrects the clamp installation, repairs the harness, and reroutes it as needed. The recall remedy states the work is free of charge. The dealer repair will be free once available.
