What's wrong?
The 2006-2009 Gulf Stream Crescendo, Yellowstone, Sun Voyager, Bounty Hunters, and Independence motor homes in this recall use Bosch hydraulic disc brakes on Freightliner Custom Chassis frames. In that system, brake fluid pressure moves a caliper piston, which squeezes the brake pads against the rotor to slow the motor home. The piston must move freely inside the caliper bore and release when you lift off the pedal.
On affected motor homes, long periods parked and not driven can let the brake caliper piston grow in diameter.
