Recall 10V478 covers 5,459 2011 Keystone RVs with Atwood range ovens for a propane-leak risk. Repair is free at any franchised Keystone dealer.
Keystone is recalling 5,459 2011 Springdale, Hornet, Outback, and other recreational vehicles equipped with Atwood 35 Series range ovens because a fracture in the oven gas line can leak propane. Propane near an ignition source can start a fire or explosion, and the Keystone dealer repair will be free once available.

What's wrong?
The Atwood 35 Series range oven in certain 2011 Keystone recreational vehicles uses a propane line to feed gas to the oven cavity burner. That burner sits inside the oven and provides the flame that heats the cooking compartment. The gas line has to stay sealed so propane reaches the burner instead of escaping into the RV.
On affected Keystone models, a small fracture can form within the line that delivers gas to that oven burner. If the line fractures, propane escapes from the line before it reaches the burner. The defect is in the oven gas-delivery equipment, not in the normal cooking setting or owner use described in the recall.
There is no warning sign before failure. If the oven has not been repaired under recall 10V478, treat the range oven as suspect until a Keystone dealer inspects and repairs the recalled equipment for free.

What should I do?
- Check your VIN to confirm your 2011 Keystone Springdale, Hornet, Outback, Passport, Residence, Montana, Fuzion, Avalanche, Hideout, Energy, Mountaineer, Bullet, Summerland, Montana High Country, Raptor, Laredo, Cougar, Sprinter, or Retreat is included in this recall.
- Contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369 to confirm the repair path for your RV.
- Schedule the free oven supply tube pressure test; the dealer replaces the tube if the test finds a propane leak.
- Bring the recall notice if Keystone mailed one. If not, reference recall number 10V478 when you call.
- Avoid using the Atwood 35 Series range oven until the oven supply tube has been tested and repaired if needed.
What happens at the repair
At the dealer, a Keystone technician isolates the oven supply tube and performs a drop pressure test to check for a propane leak. If the tube leaks, the technician replaces that oven supply tube. The dealer repair will be free once Keystone has the remedy open for your VIN. Ask the service desk to confirm that the work applies to the Atwood 35 Series range oven in your 2011 Keystone RV before the appointment, since the VIN decides whether this recall applies.

Recall 10V478 covers 5,459 2011 Keystone recreational vehicles equipped with Atwood 35 Series range ovens. A fracture in the gas line to the oven cavity burner can leak propane. Keystone dealers will pressure-test the oven supply tube and replace a leaking tube for free.
What should I do if my 2011 Keystone RV is on this recall?
